Plywood

Anecdote

I dismantled the bureau in my office at home yesterday, as part of my wife's long-term plan for the space not to look like a junkyard. This particular bureau was inherited from my mother's uncle, and I felt obliged to keep it as she said he'd made it by hand. However, on closer inspection I think it's safe to say that he didn't make it all by hand, just an insert that added some compartments for putting letters in and stuff.

This was stuck onto the insert he made:

To the Internet!

It turns out it's a sticker for a Swedish company that made the plywood.

Oh well, at least it means I don't have to reassemble the bureau for being a valuable antique.
