Anecdote
I went to the hospital today about my navel hernia. It was at a private hospital, but paid for by the NHS: win-win then! The consultant was completely without a sense of humour, but she gives off vibes of super-competency, so I'll be in good hands when I need to have the operation. I don't know when that will be, but given that she told me to lose half a stone in weight first (which is 3.17kg), I can't imagine it will be before Easter.
