Anecdote
I had breakfast at the university today, as I often do on Wednesdays.
The cashier, who is quite cheery, usually ends the transaction by saying "enjoy!". It's an act of will on my part not to respond "that's a big ask".
Still, at only £2 for the meal deal (plus £1.70 for an accompanying cup of tea) I suppose I'm getting what I paid for. Perhaps it's not the food I'm meant to enjoy, but the fact that it's cheap.
