Discredited

Anecdote

In the taxi to the airport, somewhere between my signing a credit card form, taking a receipt and handing over a tip in cash, my credit card disappeared. I noticed within moments of exiting the taxi, but by then it was too late to do anything about it.

I cancelled it online because that's easy, but I'm quite annoyed with myself as I checked the taxi seat when I left (I always do) and didn't see anything. It's probably lying between the driver's seat and the front passenger seat.

Oh well, it ran out in 4 months anyway and was so worn I couldn't read the number on it any more.

I'll be even more annoyed if it shows up in a pocket now, like my old driving licence did.
