Anecdote
I came close to death this morning. My wife saw me knock over a nearly-full cup of tea in the living room that went all over the carpet.
Fortunately, she stayed her hand in order to help blot it up. I expect she'll just record the incident in a spreadsheet to use against me at some point in the future.
We didn't both mopping down the chair it went all over, as its upholstery is tea-coloured and so not at risk.
