Anecdote
We're going on holiday (American: vacation; Academia: annual leave) at the end of this week, so I decided I would attempt to deceive our fellow holidaymakers into thinking I wasn't a slob by ironing my shirts.
I ironed 19 of them this morning. It could have been 20 but I checked and there was no achievement so I stopped at 19. This brings the total number of shirt I've ironed this year to 19. I expect to increase it around zero by the end of the year.
It's a lot easier to put a crease into a shirt than it is to get it out again afterwards.
