Anecdote
I had to go to London today for an end-of-project meeting at Queen Mary University. OK, so I didn't have to go, but as one of the other principal investigators had come all the way from Germany for it, I figured I should probably drag myself there from Colchester.
The closer you get to London, the fewer people wear masks. Also, QMUL's IT building has lousy ventilation.
If I go offline towards the end of next week, I caught COVID-19.
That said, I ate two Krispy Kreme doughnuts so may not actually make it to next week.
