Anecdote
Hot on the heels of my OKRE appearance, I'm also in a BBC video as part of the Life Project. This will sound great when I report it as part of the impact statement I'll be asked by the university to provide with great urgency at a random time next year.
I actually only have a bit part. The video, which is available at https://www.bbc.com/reel/playlist/the-life-project, is 4 minutes 8 seconds long; 12 seconds of it are me. I spoke to the interviewer for rather longer than that, but much of what I said went counter to the narrative as presented so I expect that explains it.
Even so, I expect this is 12 seconds of media exposure more than most of my colleagues will have managed this year.
