This was the stand for the Essex County Standard in Sainsbury's this morning:
The ones talking about 7,500 new homes are last week's paper. The ones talking about a population growth of 14,500 are this week's paper.
OK, so when I bought the milk there were some bottles that had an expiry date of 8th September and some with 9th September instead. If the shop didn't manage to sell all the milk dated 8th September by 8th September, it would have to take it off the shelves.
The expiry date for a weekly newspaper is a week.
