Anecdote
Well yes of course I opened the sealed pack of cards I got two days ago. I could be cruel and not tell you what was inside, but I'm not quite that sadistic.
As expected, it's a Bezique/Piquet/Skat deck, missing the 2-6 of each suit. The cards are in pristine condition, but slightly cream in colour; this is because they age even when sealed, although not as much as if they'd been exposed to light.
The strange piece of paper with 50 on it was in with the cards.
Not bad for a £5.39 purchase.
