Anecdote
I arraived at the university at 9:35 this morning and still had to park on the grass. At least I got a bit with a slight slope so if I did find the car stuck I'd have gravity on my side.
This is ridiculous: I've been on campus every day this week and every day I've been unable to park on tarmac. I have to be in tomorrow at 11am to meet a student. Am I going to have to arrive 2 hours early just so I can be sure of finding a parking space?
It's almost worthwhile checking Facebook to see if I can find the inevitable campaign that students will fruitlessly be organising against the parking situation at Essex University...
