We received an email at work today from the Vice Chancellor. In the "and finally" spot at the end, he mentioned Prince Charles' recent comments about our dustbin lecture theatre, making the sad but true observation that there other buildings on campus far worthier of crticism than that one.
Anyway, the email ended as follows:
We are regarding this in the 'all publicity is good publicity' mode and if that is the case, we have done very well out of the coverage.
I guess if all publicity is indeed good publicity, it doesn't matter if you garble your explanation of it...
