Remember those pictures of MUD's maps from 1978 that I showed a few days ago? QBlog reader Mike Rozak noticed that they were suspiciously similar to the house area of Zork.
I asked Roy about this, and he said, "Now you mention it, it probably is the cottage in Zork.".
Sorry, fanbois...
He added that the house in MUD was based on his parents' old house (13, Hall Close, Pattingham). The ground floor looked like this:
