Weird
Given its intellectual rigour and hard-hitting comment, it should come as a surprise to no-one that QBlog counts high-powered American intellectual property lawyers among its readership. Thus, in response to yesterday's query as to why IP laws weren't among the 1,211 broken by stealing a Pentagon tape and showing it on TV, James Grimmelmann was able to tell me: "The United States government has no copyright in anything in produces".
Oh. Well that explains that, then.
I bet they'd still find a way to prosecute me for making my own dollar bills, though...
