Personal Plates

Weird

I saw another example of a dire personalised number plate today. This one was R22 CHB, except the 2s had been made ultra-thin and put really close together, and the spacing had been changed. A quick glance at a distance might have given the impression that it said RICH B.

Hmm, that name sounds familiar.

Perhaps it's not a name. Perhaps the B stands for "Bastard", although anyone so desperate as to try and make two 2s look like a single 1 (even one 2 looks more like a 1 than two do) is probably not insanely wealthy. They'll be somewhat less well-off when the police stop them and slap on a fine for driving with improper number plates.
