Hidden Depths

Outburst

So there I was, wandering around in Knights of the Old Republic, when I got the Bioware classic lime, "You must gather your party before venturing forth". I wasn't aware of having done anything to ungather my party (which is to say, me and my two sidekicks), so I checked on the mini-map. Sure enough, one of the characters was elsewhere:

He was so elsewhere he'd gone off the walkable part of the map and was up to his chest in supposedly solid hillside. When I kept him walking, he went even further below so that his head disappeared, then I got to see what the surface of the hill looked like from underneath (there was grass growing there).

Are there any games with 3D graphics that don't screw up like this at some point?
