The Darling Buds

Anecdote

Listening to Radio 4 this morning after having dropped my wife off at the station, I heard an interview with Conservative politician Theresa May about the forthcoming process of selecting a new leader of that party. She was asked whether she was going to stand, but coyly statedthat no candidate was able to declare until Autumn. She was then asked if this meant she wasn't ruling herself out of running for leader. Again, she deflected the question, saying that all potential candidates would wait until the Autumn before declaring themselves.

Except she didn't say "themselves", she said "ourselves".

So that's a yes, then, Mrs May.
