Unlucky

Anecdote

I actually quite like Special K Oat & Honey cereal, so don't eat it religiously (with two Weetabix) every morning entirely because I have a naïve belief it will cut down my cholesterol level. Unfortunately, the cereal is advertised not at men who are worried they're going to die of a heart attack, but women who are worried that other women are going to be all judgemental about their appearance.

For the past few months, there's been a competition running across all Special K products:

Having no use for lipstick myself (if I want to get beaten up by strangers, there are much more entertaining ways to go about it), I let my younger daughter enter the competition. With my buying a new packet every two weeks, the odds of winning must be pretty good, after all.

Sadly, they weren't good enough that she actually did win anything, and the last day of the competition was yesterday.

Oh well. To be honest, I don't know what she would have done with a million red lipsticks anyway.
