Anecdote
How I look versus how I look in my mind's eye.
Except when using a mirror or watching a video recording of myself, I act under the assumption that I look like I do in the photo on the right.
This perhaps explains my adherence to the prevalent male tendency of not caring a great deal about my physical appearance...
