An Afternoon Shopping

Anecdote

So, this afternoon my wife and I went to Colchester to buy some things we needed ready for when we go on holiday next week.

Here's what I bought:

• Four shirts
• One pack of 5 pairs of underwear
• Two packs of 3 pairs of socks
• One blouse (birthday present for someone)
• Three birthday cards
• One book
• One packet of anti-indigestion pills
• One packet of anti-diahorrea pills
• 175 Turkish Lira

Here's what my wife bought:

• One pair of sandals.

She took 20 minutes longer than me, too.
