Anecdote
I think today is the day my Christmas presents finally flipped into cliché mode. Among the various eats, CDs and "hilarious" books (that won't make it until next Christmas before heading for the charity bookshop) are two shirts, four ties, a scarf and nine pairs of socks.
(Oh, if you're wondering why I'm using my computer at10 past 9 on Christmas Day, it's because I finally got an iPod and I'm downloading 76.87Mb of "iTunes+QuickTime version 8.0.2" for the third time, as it times out on the final file and downloads all the other ones again before it refails on it.)
(Ha, fourth time...).
