Lost in Translation

Weird

Here's a short extract from the BBC news technology site:

Work done by game designer Richard Bartle in 1996 likened the different types of players to the suits in a deck of cards, said Mr Barnett.

Hearts are those that are all about socialising and grouping in guilds or on quests. Diamonds care about treasure and finding stuff in a game. Spades are all about digging deep into the lore and rules. Clubs are those that like hitting people with one.

Here's another short extract, this time from a WoW gold-selling front:

Wreak finished by fearless planner Richard Bartle in 1996 likened the different types of players to the suits in a beat of game, said Mr Barnett. Whist are those that are all virtually socialising and grouping in guilds or on quests. The most effective way to get world of warcraft gold is to buy wow gold Diamonds tending nearly art and object stuff in a mettlesome. Spades are all nearly dig colourful into the content and rules. Clubs are those that equivalent touching group with one.

Hmm, well they've safely avoided violating the BBC's copyright there, I think...
