My new car has a 1.8L engine, whereas the old one had a 1.6L engine. This means that I didn't notice how sluggish it was when I set off to work in it this morning.
In case anyone ever asks, you can drive a Ford Focus for half a mile before the smell of burning rubber alerts you to the fact that the handbrake is on.
