At Odds

Weird

So, Doris Lessing has won the Nobel Prize for Literature.

Among other things, she writes Science Fiction. She makes no bones about it, and considers it her finest work. Yay for Doris!

In her acceptance speech, she rails against the inanity of the Internet. Boo for Doris!

Books are important, yes, but there is more to be read than books, more to be written than books, and more to be known than books can convey.
