Masters

Outburst

Yesterday, I found out that I'm the second internal examiner for an MSc thesis. The viva is next week.

I don't teach on any of the MSc courses, and indeed got into trouble when I took on an MSc student supervisee a couple of years ago as I'm only supposed to teach undergraduates and research students. The MSc is a taught course, so I keep away from it. Thus, whenever any emails come my way concerning MScs, I tend not to read them.

I guess I'd better drop into the general office and find out how many other students I'm supposed to be examining, and maybe pick up copies of their theses...
