A sign on the A12 near the M25 junction has four words on it:
Sign not in use.
Er..?
I saw one in Scarborough once that said, in its entirety:
Do not throw stones at this notice.
Signs that only exist to say something that wouldn't have to be said if they didn't exist — don't you love them?
