Weird
I just saw a man in the hotel walking around with a T-shirt bearing what looked like the logo of a bar or music venue, in an ornate font reminscent of (oxymoron alert!) Old New Orleans. The words on the T-shirt read: "Merci Beaucou".
That has to be deliberate, doesn't it? I know that many Americans are refreshingly ignorant of European languages, but surely...
