In one of yesterday's posts, I mentioned an advertisement for "Maureen's mature contacts" which some of QBlog's more skeptic readers suggested might not have appeared in The Independent. So here it is, as featured on page 45 of Saturday's The Information TV guide pull-out:
"All calls are recorded".
I still wouldn't have bothered scanning this, had my eye not been caught by another ad on the same page below this one:
I love the way they seem to be implying that other, inferior 10p-per-minute chat lines may be using pretend women instead of the genuine article.
