Emissions

Outburst

The first two pages of today's Independent concerned the carbon emissions created by air travel. Apparently, airliners belch out so much pollution that the amount of carbon added to the atmosphere per person on a flight from London to Sydney is the same as if you drove a mini round the world 640 times.

The Independent's weekly travel guide, which came with today's paper, had 32 pages. One concerned Scotland, two concerned Bath, two concerned Brighton, and the remaining 27 involved air travel.

Ah, the sweet smell of hypocricy!
