Anecdote
Although I was somewhat miffed to lose my sunglasses on a rollercoaster the other day, the guy sitting behind me on The Mummy Returns today lost a contact lens.
Not that I got off scott free, either. The elastic in my underpants snapped and the top fell down to below my pocket level. Lucky I always wear long trousers.
