Pillow Cases

Comment

Here's a handy hint for non-smokers who find themselves in a smokers' hotel room and where the pillows smell of smoke: cover the pillows with a bath towel. Hotels change pillow cases between uses, but they don't change the pillows themselves. Pillow cases are so thin that the smell of tobacco comes through easily (especially when breathed on), which is bad news when you're a non-smoker and keep waking up in the night thinking "what is that?". Bath towels are much thicker and they keep the smell at bay.

Of course, I might not be so enthusiastic if I'd somehow got mine wrapped round my throat while asleep and strangled myself....
