Cold Feet

Weird

The Dutch are supposed to be the tallest people in Europe, so you'd expect that their beds would be big. My bed here in the hotel is indeed big. Unfortunately, the duvet is small. As a result, I must have woken up five times last night with freezing tootsies.

Another oddity is the shower curtain: there isn't one. It's not that it's missing, it's that there's not even a rail. You stand in the bath, under the shower head, and the water that doesn't go into the bath splashes onto the floor. There, it stays until it can be bothered to evaporate.

At least the tapwater is drinkable, unlike how it is in some places.
