Anecdote
I was interviewed by two Australian radio presenters this afternoon (or tomorrow morning, if you're Australian). They phoned me up, we had a quick run-down on what they wanted, then they started the interview and we bantered for 5 or 10 minutes. Then they stopped recording, we chatted a bit more to see if there was anything I wanted to add, and that was that. They'll be using all the material with little or no editing.
Contrast this with the BBC, who interviewed me for over an hour but only showed me speaking for 15 seconds at the tail end of a rant.
Famous in Australia, that's me...
