Accent on Spanish Food

Anecdote

I had the radio on in the car today, and this cookery programme came on that was featuring tapas. They had an expert chef in, and she described several that she liked. The last one was particularly strong on powerfully-tasting ingredients.

Presenter: That sounds very tasty, very rich. Is it moreish?
Expert chef: It wouldn't surprise me, the Moors had a lot of influence on Spanish cuisine.

It doesn't work with my accent, but the way the presenter spoke I could understand why the expert chef might have misinterpreted what he was saying.
