Unmarried. His will shows a huge range of family connections and
he leaves bequests to brothers-in-law, sisters, nephews, nieces
as well as more distant relatives. Interesting in that many
bequests illustrate credit of period as they consist of loans
which they were able to keep. Edward seems to have loaned money
to many people. Over £20 was out on loan at his death to friends
and relatives. |
