Notes
Born before parents marriage. In 1861 Jonathan was living with
his mother Eliza Moody and her family in Laxton. In 1871 he was
with Jonathan and Eliza Bartle at Hartshorne Farm, Laxton. By
1881 he was working at Knapeney Farm, Laxton with brother Bryan
Bartle and grandmother Maria Bartle (nee Clarke) 1885-90
labourer at Ossington, Notts, 1892 at Egmanton working as a
labourer but by 1901 he was working as a farmer on his own
account at Kersall hamlet in Kneesall. Living with his wife and
several of his 12 children. |
